Ludhiana: As part of its CSR initiative to bring about health awareness to the people in the region
today, CII Ludhiana Zone organised a free health check-up camp for the Industry at
Versatile Enterprises, Ludhiana in association with SPS Hospital – Ludhiana.
Mr Gaurav Sehgal, Chairman, CII Ludhiana Zonal Council and Executive Director,
PYE Tools Ltd shared that Government is also working towards providing affordable
heathcare to the common man. He shared that the objective of the camp was to bring
affordable healthcare to the people and to spread awareness about lifestyle-related
diseases.
The doctors did a diligent check on some of the important body functions including
Blood Sugar, ECG, Blood Pressure, Weight controlling besides Diet counselling
and providing Free Medicines to the patients. The team of Doctors from SPS
Hospital gave suggestions, precautions & remedies for frequently occurring problems.
They also advised patients on health issues related to fat and inch loss, obesity, etc.
Mr Arun Seth, Managing Director, Versatile Group shared that buoyed over the
successful functioning and usage of 15 women sanitary pads vending machines and
incinerators at various government educational institutions of Ludhiana, he is committed
to encourage such initiatives.
More than 400 people were benefited from the Heath camp organised at Versatile
Enterprises, Ludhiana.
