Students from Sangita’s Studio of Dance represented Punjab at International Dance Congress 2018, bringing home 7 Trophies to their name.
The Students of Sangeeta’s Studio of Performing Arts represented Punjab at International Dance Congress 2018 Championships held in Bangalore from 5-9th of July. The team included 6 members- 1 boy and 5 girls- participated in 5 categories, and brought home 7 trophies to add to the state’s glory.
The students were trained under Dr. Sangita Khushwaha, an expert in various dance forms. She expressed her pride on the achievements, acknowledging their hardwork and dedication.
The students won the title of Asian Champions- Arushi Saxena, in Salsa U-14 Category, Ranveer Khurana and Arushi Saxena in Salsa as well as Bachata (Couple) categories.
The victory was also special as the students from SSPA were the youngest participants at IIDC. Parents of the winning students also seemed overjoyed and delighted about their kids’ success.
