CT University celebrated ‘Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s 553rd Prakash Purab’
Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s 553rd Prakash Purab was celebrated at CT University Ludhiana. CTU believes that religious education provides wisdom and keeps the moral fabric of the society intact. To seek the blessings of Almighty and to reiterate values, principles and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev ji , CT University’s management, Faculty and students paid obeisance to almighty on ‘Shri Akhand Path Sahib’ organised at CT University.
Students of the university recited shabads to pay obeisance to the Great Guru. Dr. Manbir Singh, Pro Chancellor, CT University said “Guru Nanak Dev ji enlightened the world with his teaching and taught everyone about ‘Ik Onkar’ which means that the God is one. No matter which religion, caste and creed you belong to but the almighty Lord is the only one who created this beautiful universe and present everywhere “
He added “Students from different countries studying together and respecting each other’s religions spread the message of universal brotherhood.”
Dr. Satish Kumar, officiating Vice Chancellor, CTU emphasized on the Guru Nanak’s Teachings and encouraged students to follow the path of compassion, truth and peace. The program concluded with Ardas and Hukamnama. The congregation sought the blessings of the Guru and dispersed for Guru Ka Langar.
