Ludhiana, June 9, 2018: To motivate the young leaders and to appreciate their parents, CT University organized “Shining Star” event in which 523 meritorious students from nearby areas were honoured along with their faculty members and parents. The students who scored above 80 per cent in recently declared XII CBSE and PSEB results were so happy to receive the honour.
The students came from various schools from city and surrounding areas namely BCM Arya Sen. Sec. School, Ludhiana, Guru Nanak Public School, Ludhiana, Tagore Public School, Ludhiana, Sacred Heart Convent School, Jagraon, etc.
These students, after receiving the honour were taken to a campus visit in which they saw the infrastructure of the University, followed by a career counselling session in which various doubts were cleared regarding future career prospects.
Puneet Kalra, a student who scored 96 per cent marks said, “I have seen such events happening for the very first time where an institution is honouring brilliant students. These events further give us a boost to perform better in future.”
Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti said, “I congratulate the students and the proud parents on this moment. CT University feels honoured to award such brilliant students who would prove to be an asset for the nation in future.”
