Ludhiana, March 28, 2018: School of Management Studies, CT University went on an industrial visit to Vardhman Textiles, Ludhiana which is one of the largest vertically integrated textile groups in India. For an industrial exposure, the CT students visited the unit based in Ludhiana. It was an educational visit to bridge the gap between the theoretical and practical knowledge.
The students learnt the complete process of converting raw cotton into lead. They got practical insights into the working of spinning industry and got enriched with real exposure of Industrial work.
Palak Sacchar, B.Com Honors student said, “The visit was fruitful for us. The whole processing of yarns and cotton made us learn about the practicality of the session. We had a learning exposure by this visit.”
Amrinder Singh, HOD, School of Management Studies said, “The visit was successful as students got back with a lot of valuable practical skills and learned a lot. These visits are learning as well as a break from books for the students.”
