Farewell Party Organized at SAVJC

The students of Shree AtamVallabh Jain College organized a farewell party to bid adieu to the passing out students of graduate and postgraduate on 22nd April, 2017 (Saturday). The hallmark of the day was Miss and Mr. Farewell contest in which 50 students participated. The programme started by reciting the ‘Navkar Mantra.’ It was followed by the lamp lighting ceremony by the Principal of College Dr. T. L. Joshi, co-ordinator Sh. H.R. Saini and other members of faculty. Several events were organized to leave a spellbound. There was a spate of dance, music and laughter as the hosts impressed with the showcasing of their vast repository of skills. The hilarious performances set the ecstatic ambience for the audience.The picks of the day were dance of the Mini Malaysia group, duet performance by Abhishek and Ankush, folk song of AdityaSethi, comedy performance of Prince and Inder and Bhangra event, where the juniors enthralled the gathering with their rhythmic dance steps. The modeling for Mr. and Miss Farewell was adjudged by Prof. Robininderpal Singh, Prof. AvritiTangri, and Prof. Deepika Nanda, faculty members of the college. On the basis of different rounds of modeling, different titles were given to the students. Manjot Singh of B.Com and Manika of B.Com were crowned with the titles of Mr. Farewell and Miss Farewell, respectively. Tejbeer Singh of B.Com and Geetika of B.Com were accorded with Mr. Rock OnCampus and Miss Rock On Campus, respectively. Palak of B.Com was awarded with Miss Sparkling and Sharandeep of BBA with Mr. Prince Charming title. The function was full of enthusiasm. It helped to create warm environment between juniors and seniors.  Palak of B.com III and Sagar of M.com II gave a vote of thanks to the entire college on behalf of all the passing out students of the college. At this moment, the renowned singer Happy Raikoti graced the occasion and made the moment enjoyable by singing his Punjabi songs.

Sh. Ashok Jain, President of the College’s Managing Committee, Gen. Secretary, Sh. Narinder Jain congratulated all the members of faculty and wished all the best to the outgoing students for success and accomplishments in all their future endeavors. The college principal Dr. T.L. Joshi along with co-ordinator Sh. H.R. Saini appreciated various performances of the students and gave blessings to the students for giving their best in upcoming final exams for their bright future.
