NSS unit of khalsa college for women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana organised Free Eye Camp in collaboration with Vision Shankara Super speciality eye hospital. As many as 350 students, teaching and Non-Teaching staff members class-IV employees got there eyes tested. A team of doctors and opthalmologist gave free consultation. Some treatments like laser therapy or Cryopexy, pneumoretinopexy, and other surgeries were also suggested to various teaching and Non- Teaching staff.
The NSS programme officers, NSS volunteers and a team of doctors motivated the students to come forward for eye donation campaign. Some posters and banners were also containing the theme of the camp displayed.
Dr. (Mrs.) Mukti Gill thanked the team of doctors and staff from shankara hospital and appreciated the effort put in by NSS programme officers and NSS volunteers.
