Shree AtamVallabh Jain College organised a Guest Lecture on ‘Investment Awareness Programme.’ The Entrepreneurship and Skill Development cell of the college took efforts to organise the lecture. Mr. Vebhore Seth, Cluster head, Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir from Aditya Birla Sun Life (AMC) Ltd. was the resource person. Prof. (Dr.) Rashmi Nagar and Prof. H.R. Saini welcomed the guest with floral felicitation. Mr. VebhoreSeth guided the students on utilizing financial assets to gain optimum profits. An investor is required to have a market mind for prudent investments. He described the effects of inflation on the present value of the financial assets and guided the students on how to save and make the money. He defined the procedure of investments and also evoked regarding the proper choosing of funds and how we can make profit out of that. The students of B.com and M.com had an interactive session with him followed by questionnaire round. Indeed his lecture was commendable and inspiring and generated awareness among the students.
The President of the college managing committee Sh. Ashok Jain, General Secretary Sh. Narinder Jain, Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Rashmi Nagar, Coordinator Prof. H.R.Saini felicitated the guest by presenting him a memento of appreciation and thanked him for making the students aware about mutual fund investment. They accentuated that such lectures are important for the students to sharpen their minds, as they are the future of the country and investing the money in a correct pattern can lead to the overall growth of the economy.
