First branch of Lakshmi Vilas Bank Limited in Punjab was inaugurated by S. Upkar Singh Ahuja President, CICU and Mr. Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, CICU. The new branch is opened at Model Town Extension, Near Grand Marian, Dugri Road, Ludhiana.
Mr. Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary requested the bank officials to support MSME with low cost funding.
Mr. Mahesh Kumar Bishnoi, Branch Head, Lakshmi Vilas Bank and Mr. Amul Verma, Regional Head from New Delhi welcomed Chief Guest and other Guest of Honours were present on this occasion. He mentioned that Ludhiana is an Industrial hub and known for its bi-cycle industry, hosiery industry, sewing machine industry and auto components units.
The Lakshmi Vilas Bank has 548 branches in PAN India as of now and will shortly open new branches in other cities of Punjab state. The bank is having different category of accounts i.e. saving, current, corporate & Loans. The saving and Fixed Deposit interest rate is 0.5% higher than other banks.
