Keeping up the proud tradition of achievements and bringing pride to the college the Folk Dance Team of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana, with winners of other competitions were decorated with Roll of Honour and University Colour at the Annual Function organised by the Department of Youth Welfare under the guidance and stewardship of Dr. Nirmal Jaura, at the Mahatma Hans Raj Hall, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The Student artists who brought laurels to the University during National/ North Zone Inter University Youth Festival and in other Youth activites were accorded and acknowledge for their achievments. In his speech the Vice Chancellor informed that for the First time in the History of Assocoation of Indian Universities, Khalsa College for Women, brought pride to the state and the Panjab University by clinching first position in Folk Dance at the 33rd All India National Inter University Youth Festival organised by the Association of Indian Universities at Ranchi. The Managing Committee and the Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Mukti Gill applauded the students and appreciated the staff for their efforts.
