LUDHIANA – NSS Seven Day special camp for boys (Unit 11) and Vedic Charitra Nirman Shivir going on in R.S Model Sr.Sec School since 3rd June cumlilated on 9th June. The Valedictory function commenced with a psalm to invoke Almighty God. Headmistress Asha Pahuja delivered a welcome speech and inspired the volunteers to be always in the company of pious souls in order to ennoble their lives. A melodious singing of a patriotic song by volunteers mesmerized all present on the occasion. Volunteer Anmol shared his camp experiences orating that he was much impressed as all. NSS activities were conducted with proper time management Chief Guest, S.Davinder Singh Lotey (Assist. Director, Youth Services) gave away the awards to the volunteers. Mansimran Singh emerged as the best volunteer and Swami Dayanand House enjoyed the title of Best Duty House the Chief Guest, through his oration, guided volunteers to serve their own nation when they are grown up rather than planning immigrating to foreign lands. He told them to adopt 3-D in life – Discipline, Duty, and Dedication. He also told volunteers to respect and take care of their parents in their old age. President Rajinder Pal Syal blessed volunteers and congratulated vice president Arya Rattan Mangat Ram Mehta, Director sh. Mohan Lal Kalra and teacher staff on-duty, for the successful closing of the shivir.Manager Vyas Bembi extended vote of thanks to the chief guest. Other revered members of the managing committee present on the occasion were treasure sh. Vinod Sehgal, Sudhir sayal, Sanjay Khosla, Jagjeev Bassi, Pawan Syal, Satpal Monga. The function came to a close with Shanti Path and National Anthem
