Ludhiana, April 6, 2018: CT University organised an Intra University fest ‘Splash’ in which the students from all eight schools participated in different events. More than 200 students from School of Engineering and Technology, School of Humanities and Linguistics, School of Design and Innovation, School of Education and Physical Education, School of Law, School of Hotel Management and School of Pharmaceuticals and Natural Sciences along with School of Management participated in various events.
Splash had various cultural and creative events like Group Dance, Solo Dance, Skit, Punjabi Rasoi, Selfie taking, Collage making, face painting, documentary and the major attraction was Fashion Show. The overall trophy was lifted by School of Innovation and Design. In other events, School of Engineering and Technology bagged first position in group dance, School of Humanities and Linguistics bagged first position in Mehandi. School of Design and Innovation bagged first position in Rangoli, Face Painting, Collage Making, Best out of Waste, Documentary, Solo Dance and Singing.
Bawanpreet Singh, a student from School of Management said, “I took part in group dance. Such breaks from study are always entertaining and make us stress free. All my fellow companions were actually very good and we had a gala time in Splash.”
“Splash witnessed a different variety of talents in all the students. They did a great job by putting so many efforts. I congratulate all the winners and I even congratulate all the participants because appearing on stage is not always easy. The students were full of creativity and zeal. Such events would be regularly organised for a break for the students and bringing out their talents.” said, Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr. Harsh Sadawarti.
