Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management organized its 11th Annual Athletic Meet on 23rd February, 2018 in the College Sports Ground. The event started with a march past by the participating athletes which was presided over by Brig. H S Bhandal, Director (Education). Dr. Sushil Kumar, Director (Education) declared the event open. A number of track and field events were held on the day which included the 100m, 200m and 400m races; shot put, javelin, discuss throws amongst several other fun events.
Namish Chugh of B.Com 6th semester was declared as the Best Athlete – Boys and Aditi Mahajan also of B.Com 6th semester won the award of Best Athlete – Girls.
Brig Bhandal and Dr. Sushil Kumar, Directors (Education) along with Principal, Dr. R L Behl presented the certificates and medals to all the prize-winning students. In an inspiring speech, Dr Behl, Principal of the College, encouraged all students to look after their health and physical fitness and play some game on a daily basis. The event was well participated and enjoyed by all the students.
