Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management and Swami Vivekanand Meditation Pyramid hosted the Concluding meditation session in SACCM campus under the guidance of Director Education, Dr. Sushil Kumar, Principal Dr. R.L. Behl,Prof. Jai Parkash, Prof. Meenu Goyal and Prof. Robin Kaushal. Director Education, Dr. Sushil Kumar and Principal Dr. R.L. Behl shared their experience with the students, briefed them about the importance of meditation and motivated them to continue with this wonderful practice during their final examinations starting from first week of May. College N.S.S. student coordinators, Himanshu Garg, Abheeti, Vanshika, Varun, Anshit, Vaibhav and Shagun tried their best to make this day a memorable one for the Vivekanand pyramid team.

Meditation masters Sh. Anil Bharti, Smt. Leena Bharti along with Sh. Rajinder Sharma and Sh. Ashok Dhir from Swami Vivekanand Meditation Pyramid visited the college and shared their expertise.  The guests were honoured with bouquets, college mementoes,plant saplings and written feedback given by the students and faculty members. Sh. Anil Bharti shared his thoughts on benefits of meditation and recited some of his motivational poems. Prof Meenu Goyal said Meditation is an open doorway within the human being, that opens the way to personal knowledge of any phenomenon in nature. Through the scientific and practical technique of meditation, one no longer needs to believe in anything: one can know. Prof Meenu Goyal said the College conduct meditation sessions to evoke self happiness, to share love and sympthy, to gain and to give the meaning of life. There are various Physical, Mental, andSpiritual benefits of meditation sessions told Dr Robin Kaushal. Smt Leena Bharti shared Meditation is food for the soul. It nourishes the universal values of compassion, caring and sharing, responsibility, non-violence and peacefulness. It helps us bond with others.Prof Jai Parkash said, these are important values to guide us and make us accept all of mankind as our family: more so in times when the world is being fragmented. Prof. Jai Parkash further added it will help students improve their relationships. Students will develop a pleasant, sociable personality, and will be able to accept people as they are. These are important skills in any sphere. Students took active part in the Meditation sessions. They were awarded certificates of participation for completing meditation course and for regularly practising the meditation and making it part of their daily life, said Dr R L Behl.
