STATE LEVEL INTER COLLEGE DECLAMATION CONTEST AT MASTER TARA SINGH MEMORIAL COLLEGE FOR WOMEN

Ved Prachar Mandal, Ludhiana organised State Level Inter College Declamation Contest at Master Tara Singh Memorial College for Women, Ludhiana under the able guidance of Dr. Kirandeep Kaur, Principal Master Tara Singh Memorial College for Women and Mandal’s state General Secretary Shri Roshan Lal Arya. Function was presided over by Dr. Kuldeep Kaur, Principal Mata Ganga Khalsa College for Girls, Kottan. The occassion was commenced with the lightening of Lamp by chief guest Dr. Kuldeep Kaur and Dr. Kirandeep Kaur and with an auspicious Shabad “deh shiva bar mohe”.

                                    While addressing the students Sh Roshan Lal Ahuja said that the main aim of Mandal is to spread an awareness on the importance of the moral values and Vedic culture in the young generation. Students of twenty seven colleges expressed their views on different important topics as: Respect of Parents, Contribution of Arya Samaj in Freedom Struggle and Woman as the Basis of Earth etc. Dr. Inderjeet Kaur, Smt Rashmi Grover & Dr. Mahima Khosla judged the contest. Sh Arun Sood, Smt Rajesh Sharma commenced the function with the draw and provided the badges. Dr. Satish Nauharia and Sh. Sukhminder Singh also graced the occasion with their auspicious presence. Stage was conducted by Prof. Nirottama. NCC students of the college also marched a rally against the social evils prevailing in the society.

                                    Chief guest Sh. Subhash Lakda said that to aware youth about their culture is a noble task. Dr. Kuldeep Kaur, in his presiding speech said that the youth’s life can be meaningful if they act upon the messages given by different participants.

                                    In this competition First position was clinched by Ritu Tandon (D.D. Jain Memorial College, Ludhiana) Second positions were grabbed by Khushboo Sharma (MTSMCW, Ludhiana), Reema Rana (Guru Nanak Girls College, Ludhiana and Third positions were snatched by Hansraj Mishra (DAV College, Jalandhar), Palak Sharma (Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala), Preety Yadav (BCM College of Education, Ludhiana). Four Appreciation awards were honoured to Shivani, Anmol Sharma, Palak Sharma and Amanpreet Kaur.

                                    The winners were honoured by chief guest Shri Subhash Lakda, Dr. Kirandeep Kaur and Dr. Kuldeep Kaur with trophies and certificates

Swarn Singh Ji, President, College Managing Committee & Secretary S. Kanwalinder Singh Ji congratulated the winners and thanked the guests from different parts of state for their arrival and sparing their valuable and precious time.
