To commemorate the martyrdom day of the ninth Guru of Sikhs, Shri Guru Teg Bahadur ji, Akhand Path Sahib was organised on November 24, 2017 in the Sarjit Gurudwara situated in the premises of Khalsa College for Women. The grand day was celebrated amidst great enthusiasm and religious fervor under the able guidance of Khalsa Dewan, College Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Mukti Gill, with full cooperation from Malwa Central College of Education, Khalsa Girls Senior Secondary School, Malwa Khalsa Senior Secondary School for Boys, Khalsa Institute of Management & Technology, the entire college management, the entire staff, students and hostlers of Khalsa College for Women.

Keeping in mind the teachings of Guru and holding on to the tradition, the divine service concluded with the Bhog Ceremony of Akhand Path Sahib. Hostel students from various streams participated zealously in ‘Sewa’ in different areas-cleaning of Gurudwara premises, cutting and chopping of vegetables, making chapattis, preparation of ‘Karah Prasad’, and ‘Langar’ and served the same with utmost dedication. The employees of the college also contributed towards the service. The devotees were mesmerized with the soul nourishing “Asa di Var’ and ‘Shabad Kirtan’ performed by Hajoori Raagi Jatha from Sarabha Nagar Gurudwara.
